Following its original release, My Latin Heart spent 26 weeks on the JazzWeek charts and earned national recognition for its vivid movement between Latin jazz traditions and modern ensemble writing. The program includes 'Zambo's Mambo,' 'Cal's Guajira,' 'Brother Marshall,' 'A Night of Love,' 'Energizer,' 'Congo Square,' 'Angola,' and 'Samba De Carnaval.'
