Rotborn are quickly challenging the Brazilian death metal elite, i.e. Krisiun, Rebaelliun, for a shot at the throne!!

ROTBORN, a rising star in the Death Metal scene in Brazil, released their first S/T'd single in 2021 and with our help released their debut EP, Genocidal Resolution, on cassette in January of 2022. Working tirelessly, Rotborn drummer, Nestor Carrera, who is also the drummer of Brazilian Death Metal heavyweights Escarnium, and crew crafted a handful of brand new tunes faster than you can shout 'ooh, vai morrer!', which culminated into the band's 2022 debut LP, On the Perspective of an Imminent Downfall. Regarding the tunes on band's debut album, NO CLEAN SINGING wrote : '...monster gutturals, maniacal drumwork, gut-slugging basslines, and riffs that are both brazen and delirious. The music is fast, comes for your throat with no holds barred, and is over almost before you know it. It's an electrifying rampage, and is likely to leave you hungry for what comes next.' Shrapnels of a Panic Spiral is a an even more frightening blend of Death Metal and grindcore than it's predecessor with the ferocity and fervor only a band from South America could provide. With this sophomore release, Rotborn are quickly challenging the Brazilian death metal elite, i.e. Krisiun, Rebaelliun, for a shot at the throne!! In support of the record, the band will tour Europe alongside Rats of Gomorrah from October to November with more plans coming in 2025 .
