On November the 18th 2003 in the comfortable solitude of the Sorriso Studios, Bonafede sat down at the Steinway piano to record ten tracks dedicated to his son Luca who was then three years old. Bonafede knew well the Sorriso Studios scene and felt at ease. Bonafede’s idea was about writing a letter in music, rich in advices and invitations to reflection through which he could transmit his life experience and his values to his son. The emotional intensity which enlivens this musical vademecum is therefore very emphasized and the outstanding rapture in the interpretation can be felt by the first notes. Through this track Bonafede wants to underline how important was to be born in Palermo, a city rich in history and in encounters among different cultures.
