After the successful debut of the 1992-album 'Different Places' young jazz-funk-pop formation Scetches comes up with their new, invitingly entitled CD 'Don't ask- Just play'. High expectations got more than satisfied by the quintet: Powerful grooves, distinctive harmonies plus a whole lot of dynamic and sound-collages were mixed to an innovating crossover-cocktail. Outstanding on these recordings is the feelingly expression and tuneful playing of trumpeter Christoph Titz.
