Scotland's Queen's of song recirded live on tour.

In 2002, Celtic Connections in association with the Scottish Arts Council, promoted a hugely popular tour of “Scottish Women” - a combination of singers from “Gaelic Women” and “Scots Women”, plus others - around the Lowlands and Highlands of Scotland. A few of these concerts were recorded and Brian McNeill, musical director of the “Scots Women” concert and the “Scottish Women” tour, then edited and mastered these recordings. The excitement of the ‘live’ event is fully captured on tape and another outstanding album of Scotland’s women singers becomes a fitting companion to “Gaelic Women” and “Scots Women”.
