Debut album from the German Synphonic rock band from 1978 on CD for the first time.
The pre-production of the first songs for this album vinyl has been made live in the rehearsal-room on a Revox-machine. Conny Plan (produer) recommended the band to the Studio of Dieter Dierks in Stommeln. Dieter at that time was in the process of enlarging his big studio by another small one and offered Shaa Khan the studio for recordings. This meant an enormous pressure for the musicians, because the recordings had to be done within 3 days and they had time for the mix of only 1.5 days. The recordings took place Summer 1977. At the same time Dieter Dierks produced the album âTaken By Force' with the Scorpions.
During the intermissions, which took place every now and then for the one or other band member, there have been hot duels in the intermission-room at the soccer-player between the Scorpions and Shaa Khan
After finishing the recordings Dieters' publishing company connected Shaa Khan to Günter Körber and his label Sky Records in Hamburg.
1978 âThe World Will End On Friday' has been published by Sky Records under no.015 and brought a lot of gigs to the band all over Germany. And Shaa Khan has been voted from the listeners of the largest radio station to the âNewcomer of the year'.
