Among connoisseurs Shalosh (translated: three) is considered as one of the most interesting newcomer bands in the jazz scene. With more than hundred concerts all over the world and its acoustic, progressive raw-jazz, the trio is causing a stir at an international level since 2014.
Despite the common jazz-trio instrumentation (piano, double bass, drums) and the deep roots in jazz, Shalosh has broken new ground between rock, classical, electro, African and Middle Eastern influences. Thereby the music is captivating as well as moving, intense and soulful.
The live-atmosphere in the studio, the excited audience and the legendary Steinway grand piano has encouraged the trio to play new powerful interpretations, even of pieces they already played hundreds of times on tour.
