2008 album featuring Roger Daltrey and Paul Weller

STEVE ELLIS is one of the great and unique British singers who has the capacity not only to write memorable songs, but to pick winners from other composers and to think outside the box when it comes to recording such tracks. At the age of 16 with his band LOVE AFFAIR Steve had a number 1 Hit single 'Everlasting Love' followed by a number of Top 10 Hit singles ('Rainbow Valley, A Day Without Love and Bringing On Back The Good Times'). Back in 2004 Steve recorded 'Best Of Days' and he invited his very old friend ROGER DALTREY down to the studio originally because he needed a 'a dirty harmonica solo' and Roger came in and did exactly what was required. The pair then spontaneously arranged and recorded 'Yellow Rose Of Texas'. On the bonus track 'Everlasting Love' recorded live at Fairfield Hall, Croydon in 2001 on PAUL WELLER'S 'Wings Of Speed' tour where Steve appeared as a guest of Paul another long-time friend. Also on guitar on the night was STEVE CRADDOCK from OCEAN COLOUR SCENE.
