Fifteen years after curating the original Sub Signals for the cult Canadian label Interchill, Gaudi returns with a sequel that unites legendary reggae innovators, electronic pioneers, and next-generation dub producers into a seamless sonic journey built around heavyweight bass, immersive atmospheres, and meticulously crafted transitions.
Drawing from longtime collaborators and carefully unearthed archive material, Gaudi assembles an exceptional lineup featuring The Orb, Groove Armada, Dub FX, African Head Charge, Alpha Steppa, Radikal Guru, Paolo Baldini DubFiles, Pitch Black, Deadbeat, David Harrow, SUBSET, Shpongle, 3head, AUX25, Simm, Phonolab, 100th Monkey, and Gaudi himself. As the mix developed, Gaudi envisioned it as the soundtrack to a non-existent black-and-white film, allowing listeners to create their own visual narrative through evolving frequencies, textures, and emotion.
