This album answers our wish to celebrate a Sufi heritage little featured on the large worldwide music scene. Moreover, those who champion it in the Comoros do not consider it as music, rather as necessary speech in their progression towards God, as a means of spiritual elevation and as an essential aspect of the way (tariqa or brotherhood) they have chosen for themselves.
