Tangents is the fabulous new album from the UK’s leading Tango ensemble Tango Siempre. It was born from last year’s collaboration between the band, jazz saxophonist Gilad Atzmon and drummer/remixer Steve Arguelles. The resulting album is a powerful and ground-breaking fusion of tango and jazz. The music is passionate, intense, soulful and unique on the British music scene, breathing new life into nuevo tango with fiery improvisation, sparkling collective interplay and solid grooves. With the exception of a groovy cover of La Cumparsita and a new work by Gilad Atzmon (fusing Arabic, tango and jazz elements), all the music is written by Tango Siempre.
