An album dedicated to those who serve and this great country

This album has been organized to raise money and awareness of the amazing work done by Guitars 4 Vets. To date they have given over 5000 guitars and 25000 lessons to veterans dealing with PTSDs with tremendous success. 100% of the monies received by New Folk will go directly to them for their work. All the artists on the CD donated their songs to the project to help make sure as much money as possible is raised. The album includes songs by Rockie Lynne, Geoff Levee, The Orphan Brigade, Nu-Blu. Mike Nolan, Beyond the Badlands, Joshua Ray Hudson, Todd Menton, Wayne Taylor, Lehto & Wright, The Charlie Daniels Band, Scotty Hasting, John Schneider, and Doyle Dykes. The songs include original songs as well as traditional songs and themes include not only the more current conflicts but the Civil War and World War 1. There are instrumental tracks. bluegrass tracks, country and americana tracks performed by unsigned as well as the signed artists listed. There is even a song from a graduate of the Guitars4Vets program; Scotty Hasting, who is now signed to a major label. We have both a national radio and marketing plan in place for the title track, That's Why We Stand set to launch in early October. New Folk is also doing an online auction of donated guitars and signed memorabilia that will also raise money for the project ,
