Police detective Chris Loudon's mission to expose the truth behind one of America's worst serial killers.
Det. Chris Loudon re-opens the cold case of Pam Maurer, a 16-year-old high school student who was murdered and dumped in Lisle, Illinois back in 1976. DNA evidence leads his team to a suspect who lived in the area at the time. They talk to the suspects' friends and girlfriends and start building a picture of what he was like. Girlfriends remember him as good-looking and charming with bright blue eyes. Friends remember him as eager to help. He was a keen skydiver and amateur photographer - he liked to take pictures of naked women which he'd show to his friends. He was also quick to snap, carried a gun and kept a bottle of ether in the fridge, with which he drugged at least one girlfriend, before photographing her naked. Loudon discovers he was the suspect in the rape and disappearance of a young woman in 1980. He then finds a box that was found in the suspect's house, filled with photos of naked young women, some appearing drugged and underage. He wonders whether these women in the photos were also his victims, has Loudon uncovered a serial killer?
