Released in 1989, the album demonstrates that The Polecats were still writing fresh, distinctive music while remaining true to the style that first won them an international following. Alongside originals including Lady Medusa, Biro and Magical Curtain, the album features spirited interpretations of classics such as I'm Ready, Hip Hip Baby and Sunglasses After Dark. This CD edition also includes four bonus tracks not featured on the original vinyl release, making it the definitive version of the album for collectors and fans alike.
Combining memorable songwriting, polished musicianship and The Polecats' unmistakable style, Won't Die proves why the band remained one of the leading names in British Rockabilly well beyond the revival years.
