Tidalwave Road's first full-length album with Pinecastle Records is a hard-hitting, heart-driven bluegrass statement from a rising Kentucky band that's quickly turning heads. After winning the 2023 SamJam Festival Band Competition and releasing a well-received EP (The Bonfire Sessions) in 2024, the group now presents a 10-song powerhouse that blends grit, groove, and gut-level storytelling.

Hailing from deep in Daniel Boone Country, this Williamsburg, KY-based crew isn't afraid to put their own stamp on tradition. Led by the picking and songwriting of Ben Parker (banjo), the soulful voice and mandolin of Carlie Parker, the solid bass drive of Daniel Parker, and the creative guitar fire of Robert Sulfridge, the band's signature sound is as rooted as it is original.

The new album includes powerful originals like the anthemic 'You Put the Blue in Bluegrass' and 'Not Ok My Brother,' written by band member Ben Parker, alongside fresh cuts from respected writers including Rick Lang, David Stewart, and J. Tony Rackley. They breathe new life into time-tested classics like 'Tom Dooley' and 'He Took Your Place,' proving they can walk the traditional line while making it entirely their own.
