rav’ler is the debut solo recording of Timothy E. Anderson, Assistant Professor of Trombone at the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). Instead of recording well-known pieces for solo trombone, Tim chose a different path, assembling music that expands the recorded repertoire of trombone solo music with new and seldom-heard music as well as music that showcases the talents of CCM’s faculty and graduates – including the critically acclaimed jazz veteran, Kim Pensyl, who has more than 100 published works recorded.
