Viper Solfa was founded in 2013 by former Trail Of Tears singer Ronny Thorsen. After almost 2 decades of fully released albums, worldwide tours and guest appearances with Tristania and Blood Red Throne, the time was ripe to move into new musical territory.



Thorsen was soon joined by former Trail Of Tears members Endre Moe (Dimension F3H, Cutthroat) on bass and drummer Bjørn Dugstad Rønnow (Sphere). A short time later, Morfeus (Mayhem, Limbonic Art, Dimension F3H) joined the band, taking on the role of composer and guitarist, as well as keyboard and orchestration.



With the first songs it became clear that the band's sound would benefit from a varied, intense and talented female voice. So more than two dozen female singers from all over the world auditioned for Viper Solfa. Finally, Miriam Sphinx Renvåg (Ram-Zet) was chosen to complete the line-up.



All band members are already experienced musicians with different musical backgrounds. All this results in a merciless sound where each band member's background finds influence.



The band has been hard at work for a year and presents innovative extreme metal, which the band themselves appropriately call Poison Music. Viper Solfa can hardly wait to unleash this beast of an album on mankind and are already making plans to soon lay waste to the stages of this world.
