Since forming in 2021 VULNIFICUS have fired out three EPs, a compilation and a split, all in rapid succession. The one thing that's been missing from their burgeoning catalog of releases is a full-length album. Now that long awaited debut is heading our way and this is one dangerous beast of a record! This ten track assault on the senses is titled 'Inclination' - and it is not to be taken lightly.

Opening with the bewildering violence of 'Bacterial Backlash', 'Inclination' immediately demonstrates that VULNIFICUS are not just another brutal death metal band. There are no standard procedures followed as 'Inclination' begins to unfold and strange, skin crawling atmospheres and complex rhythms mingle with thick, twisted riffs and ultra guttural, intimidating vocals. There's an aura of controlled chaos as 'Insurmountable Insurrection' twists your head around. Nothing is quite what you expect as the deft, prominent bass work and technically superb drums leap and twist like a homicidal maniac unchained. 'Involuntarily Incapacitated' opens with a slipping, staggering riff that grows in intensity before darting away in a deformed, frantic shuffle, leaving a miasma of teeth grinding tension in its wake. 'The Infiltration' seems to draw you into a shadowed place of broken things who draw themselves together into a jagged onslaught of sonic horror. Battering, bludgeoning, violent, claustrophobic, disturbing and dramatically different, 'Inclination' is a work of supreme heaviness that stands apart from the pack.

VULNIFICUS have now found their way into the rotting embrace of Comatose Music and under the auspices of those undead overlords 'Inclination' will be sent forth on October 10th. With its warped sound captured by the mixing and mastering of Scot Moriarty at Backroom Studios and its spirit transformed into visual form by the cover artwork of Ricky 'Pileworm' Pile, 'Inclination' is coming to blight your days and turn your nights into endless hours of panic and confusion.
