On this brilliant recording you can hear some of Antheil's most interesting compositions, e.g. 'Little Shimmy', 'The Golden Bird, after Brancusi' or 'Jazz Sonata' played by Viennese pianist Gottlieb Wallisch. Between the piano pieces, Karl Markovics (German) and Christopher Roth (English) are read excerpts from Antheil's biography 'Bad Boy of Music', published in 1945.
