Formerly known as Wilson/Lee/Bentley (with a release on the Drip Audio label, Escondido Dreams), the group consists of Tony Wilson (electric guitar), Peggy Lee (cello) and Jon Bentley (tenor, soprano and c-melody saxophones). This is chamber jazz that moves between highly structured and freer playing but it always strong on form and direct emotional appeal, whether driving or more contemplative. The musicians often swap roles within pieces, exploiting the full range of expression for this unusual combination of instruments. Audiophile (24/96) recording has great transparency. (Peggy Lee is also featured on Songlines in Wayne Horvitz's Gravitas Quartet and on his 2015 release Some Places Are Forever Afternoon, as well as the Talking Pictures/Robin Holcomb/Wayne Horvitz collaboration The Point of It All.)

Track list:

1.
