In 1961, the composer Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, born in Florence in 1895, very subjectively chose 24 leaves from Goya's cycle of 80 etchings and set them to music for guitar. On this CD, prize-winning concert guitarist Winfried Stegmann brings his personal selection of 14 of Castelnuovo-Tedesco's 'Caprichos de Goya, Op. 195', to life - a CD that is a musical excursion into the visual arts!
