The Zen Arts Ensemble was formed out of a series of “Being Sound” Zen workshops created by Jay Rinsen Weik that explore the intersection of creativity, sound and Zen mindfulness.   Both the Zen Arts Ensemble and the Being Sound workshops have been featured at the Mind Life Institutes International Symposium of Contemplative Studies, as well as with the University of Toledo’s Mindfulness and Creativity Initiative.
